Hello!
I have returned from vacation and am starting to get back into my groove! It was a magical trip and I cannot wait to do it again! I found that going away brought such a strong sense of gratitude to me in so many ways. First of all, it was wonderful to take a break from my daily routines. But I also found myself so thankful for being able to travel, for the family members that were with me and for the family members back home, doing my daily routines! I found myself immensely grateful for the friends we stayed with- they were the absolute best. And as my time to return was getting closer and I was a wee bit homesick, I found myself so grateful for the life I have- my husband, my home, my friends, my dogs,my health and my work - not necessarily in that particular order. My heart is full.
And while I was in merry old England, enjoying moderate weather, my home state was going underwater with all the rain storms we were having. Roads were being swept away. It was intense weather - and this weather reflects the astrology we are living in now.
It has been hard, difficult and heavy energy through Cancer season. We have had enough but it still goes on. By the end of this month , we will have 6 planets in retrograde motion. This means that this is the time to review, re-evaluate, recalculate, re-do how you are living your life, re-assess if you are close to your dreams and if not,how you can get there. This is not the time to allow yourself to remain stuck. Try to find even the smallest of steps to begin to propel you toward your hopes and dreams. Allow yourself to transform from where you are. Use the energy of the 2 Super Moons that we have this month to release all the things you no longer need. Use the energy of the New Moon to hone your intentions- and to allow yourself to be exactly who you are. The energy will be heavy for a while longer.
Try to do a grounding exercise daily to stay centered. Pay attention at the Full Moon in Pisces- keep track of your dreams and flashes of insight.
Keep a daily journal of your thoughts - it will light a path when you read what you wrote.

SUPER FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS
This Moon brings the need for emotional freedom. Aquarius rules humanitarianism and ideology. The Moon rules emotions and intention. Aquarius rules the head, the intellect and can be emotionally detached. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus and can bring eccentricity, unpredictability and unconventional behavior to this time. You may be more successful by being unconventional than by playing by the rules with this Moon.
The Full Moon opposes the Sun and brings relationships into focus every month. Full Moons always bring something to completion.
This Moon asks us to look at the path we are following. We need to ensure that we are following our heart’s desires- not just following others to have a path of the least resistance. We are being asked to be our true selves- to be chasing our dreams and not just being a part of the status quo. This will require facing our fears- fears of not fitting in, of being different, of being seen for the quirky, weird person we may be. To put aside the fear and learn to look at things in a different way. Aquarius is an air sign and you will transform through your higher thoughts. Consciously observe, notice and see things in a new light and make the changes you need to let go of old stuck patterns and energy. Release these patterns with the energy of this Full Moon. The emphasis is on taking another look at your values to change what is not full in alignment with your unique self with your unique gifts. This can feel unpredictable and not easy to manage now but keep with it, there are blessings on the other side of it.
Mars in a trine with Jupiter is bringing wonderful energy for momentum and action. But Mercxury opposing Saturn can bring on a serious tone to our conversations. And the Moon squaring Jupiter makes us want to overindulge- but this is not in our best interest.

Another powerful aspect to this New Moon is the Lion’s Gate Portal. This portal happens every year on 8/8. Manifesting Energy !!! The Lion’s Gate happens when the Earth aligns with the star Sirius. Sirius was considered to be our Spiritual Sun. The Lion’s gate always occurs when the Sun is in the sign of Leo. This is a time of transformation! This is a time for manifestation! The star Sirius is associated with wealth, passion and honor. The number 8 is considered to be lucky- it’s symbol representing the infinity symbol. So dream big on 8/8- use this energy to write down and manifest your biggest dreams.

The sign of Leo is proud, outgoing, playful, and creative. Leo likes to be generous and make grand gestures. Leo wants to shine and stand out on her own. Leo is dignified and courageous. This New Moon brings all that energy now. Leo is ruled by the Sun and wants us to shine brightly, be comfortable with who we are, and be able to show our true selves to the world. Take pride in yourself and be a leader.
The downside of Leo can be vain and self-centered. There can be a tendency to be overly dramatic. There can be frustration now for having to keep things on hold through these times with a feeling of being stuck and unable to move forward.
This is a time to empower yourself, have courage, and be ready for a transformation. . There is strong energy now. Look at what you want. Shine your light but be careful moving forward- look for the obstacles before you make a move.
